Tanggung Jawab
- Review and process medical claims in compliance with payer guidelines and federal regulations.
- Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility prior to services rendered.
- Monitor and follow up on claim denials, rejections, and underpayments to ensure resolution.
- Maintain accurate and organized patient billing records and documentation.
- Communicate professionally with insurance carriers and healthcare providers to clarify billing discrepancies.
- Update patient demographic information and insurance data in the billing software.
- Prepare and submit monthly reports on billing status and accounts receivable performance.
Kualifikasi
- Proven experience as a Medical Billing Specialist or a similar Revenue Cycle role.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-10/CPT coding, and insurance verification processes.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) and medical billing software systems.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure to meet strict deadlines.
- Relevant certification in medical billing or coding is highly preferred.
