Tanggung Jawab
- Accurately assign ICD-10-CM and PCS codes for complex inpatient medical records.
- Ensure proper DRG assignment to facilitate accurate reimbursement and clinical documentation integrity.
- Review clinical documentation to identify opportunities for provider query to clarify ambiguous or incomplete information.
- Maintain a consistent coding accuracy rate of 95% or higher in accordance with quality standards.
- Stay up-to-date with current coding guidelines, regulatory changes, and payer-specific requirements.
- Collaborate with HIM, clinical staff, and billing departments to resolve coding-related discrepancies.
- Adhere to strict HIPAA regulations and internal data privacy protocols at all times.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience as an Inpatient Medical Coder (DRG focus).
- Active professional certification required (e.g., CCS, RHIT, or RHIA).
- Strong command of ICD-10-CM/PCS and MS-DRG/APR-DRG classification systems.
- Proficiency in using Electronic Health Record (EHR) and computer-assisted coding (CAC) software.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under minimal supervision while meeting strict deadlines.
- Must be based in or willing to work in Taguig City, Metro Manila.
