As a Medical Lab Assistant, you will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with lab technologists and healthcare providers. Your duties will encompass a blend of administrative coordination and hands-on laboratory support. Tanggung Jawab
- Perform accurate collection, labeling, and processing of laboratory specimens according to established protocols.
- Provide operational support to the Cardiac Service department, ensuring clinical workflows remain uninterrupted.
- Act as an Inpatient Coordinator to manage patient documentation and ensure seamless information flow between departments.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure all instruments are sanitized and calibrated according to safety standards.
- Enter and verify patient data in the Laboratory Information System (LIS) with high precision and confidentiality.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels of lab reagents and medical consumables.
- Assist senior technologists in conducting routine clinical tests and diagnostic procedures.
- Ensure all laboratory activities comply with health, safety, and hygiene regulations (OSHA/local standards).
Kualifikasi
- Minimum GCE 'O' Level, 'A' Level, or a Diploma in Biomedical Science, Biotechnology, or a related field.
- Prior experience in a laboratory or clinical coordination environment is highly preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare staff.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic Laboratory Information Systems (LIS).
- High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail when handling sensitive medical information.
- Ability to multitask and adapt to a high-pressure clinical environment.
- Valid certification in Phlebotomy is a strong advantage.
- Must be comfortable working in the West Region of Singapore.
