- <ul><li>Perform a wide range of complex diagnostic tests and analyses in Haematology, Biochemistry, and Urinalysis sections of the Core Lab.</li><li>Operate, calibrate, and maintain sophisticated laboratory equipment, ensuring optimal performance and troubleshooting minor issues.</li><li>Conduct rigorous quality control procedures, validate results, and maintain comprehensive records in compliance with laboratory standards and accreditation requirements.</li><li>Interpret and verify laboratory results, identifying critical values and communicating them promptly to medical professionals.</li><li>Prepare reagents, solutions, and culture media according to established protocols.</li><li>Participate in the evaluation and implementation of new methodologies and instrumentation to enhance laboratory services.</li><li>Adhere strictly to safety protocols, waste management procedures, and infection control guidelines.</li><li>Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient laboratory workspace.</li></ul>
Kualifikasi
- <ul><li>Bachelor's Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology/Science or an equivalent recognized qualification.</li><li>Valid registration with the Malaysian Allied Health Professions Council (or equivalent recognized body).</li><li>Minimum of 2-3 years of working experience as a Medical Lab Scientist, preferably within a Core Laboratory setting.</li><li>Proficiency in performing tests across Haematology, Biochemistry, and Urinalysis disciplines.</li><li>Familiarity with Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) and automated laboratory equipment.</li><li>Strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and proven problem-solving abilities.</li><li>Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced clinical environment.</li><li>Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to patient safety and quality.</li></ul>
