Tanggung Jawab
- Perform a wide range of routine and specialized laboratory tests in hematology, biochemistry, microbiology, and serology.
- Ensure the accuracy of test results through rigorous quality control procedures and instrument calibration.
- Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment to ensure optimal functionality and uptime.
- Prepare biological specimens for analysis, ensuring proper labeling, storage, and handling protocols are strictly followed.
- Maintain comprehensive and confidential patient records in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate with medical staff to communicate urgent or critical laboratory findings promptly.
- Adhere strictly to laboratory safety protocols, including biohazard handling and personal protective equipment (PPE) guidelines.
- Participate in continuous professional development and training sessions to keep abreast of the latest diagnostic technologies.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related field.
- Possess a valid registration/license with the relevant professional body (e.g., Malaysian Institute of Medical Laboratory Technologists).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical laboratory experience preferred; fresh graduates with strong academic performance are encouraged to apply.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory safety procedures and quality assurance standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficiency in Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) and basic computer applications.
- Ability to work on a rotational shift basis, including weekends and public holidays as required.
