Tanggung Jawab
- Perform routine haematology and coagulation laboratory tests on patient samples with high accuracy.
- Operate and maintain laboratory instrumentation, including automated analyzers and microscopes.
- Perform manual differential blood counts and review abnormal results for accuracy.
- Ensure strict adherence to quality control (QC) and quality assurance (QA) protocols.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of laboratory results in the hospital information system.
- Participate in internal quality assessment and proficiency testing programs.
- Adhere to laboratory safety, infection control, and biosafety regulations at all times.
- Assist in the training of junior staff and participate in departmental continuous improvement initiatives.
Kualifikasi
- Degree or Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) or equivalent qualification.
- Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) is required.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience in a clinical haematology laboratory.
- Strong working knowledge of haematology and coagulation testing principles and techniques.
- Ability to perform manual differential counts and blood smears accurately under pressure.
- Excellent attention to detail, high level of accuracy in data entry, and strong analytical skills.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Relevant Singapore-based certification and eligibility to work in Singapore are mandatory.
