Tanggung Jawab
- Perform a wide range of routine and specialized microbiological tests, including culture, identification, and antimicrobial susceptibility testing.
- Ensure the accurate and timely processing of clinical specimens while maintaining strict adherence to laboratory safety protocols.
- Operate, calibrate, and perform routine maintenance on advanced laboratory instrumentation and automated systems.
- Manage quality control processes to ensure the integrity and precision of all laboratory findings.
- Collaborate effectively with laboratory staff and clinical teams to communicate critical test results.
- Maintain comprehensive laboratory documentation and records in compliance with ISO and hospital accreditation standards.
- Participate in ongoing training and continuous professional development initiatives to stay updated on emerging infectious diseases.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Degree in Biomedical Science, Medical Laboratory Science, or a related field.
- Relevant certification or registration with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) is highly preferred.
- Previous laboratory experience in a clinical microbiology setting is strongly preferred; fresh graduates with a strong academic background are welcome to apply.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, especially when interpreting diagnostic findings.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment, including rotating shifts where necessary.
- Proficiency in Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) and standard office software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
