Tanggung Jawab
- Conduct comprehensive field studies to monitor mosquito populations and disease vectors in Singapore.
- Design, implement, and evaluate biological control strategies, such as Wolbachia or sterile insect techniques.
- Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to integrate biological data with digital monitoring systems.
- Collect and analyze biological samples to ensure the efficacy of release and containment protocols.
- Maintain laboratory facilities and adhere to strict safety and biosafety regulations.
- Prepare scientific reports and presentations to share findings with internal stakeholders and the public.
Kualifikasi
- Master’s degree or PhD in Biology, Entomology, Zoology, or a related scientific field.
- Proven experience in field research, entomology, or ecological monitoring.
- Strong understanding of insect life cycles, behavior, and genetics.
- Experience with laboratory techniques, microscopy, and sample preservation.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and environments.
- Familiarity with data analysis tools (e.g., R, Python, or statistical software).
