We are seeking an experienced MySQL Database Administrator to join Oxydata Software's dynamic IT team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining high-performance MySQL database systems that power our mission-critical applications. You will optimize database architecture for scalability, security, and reliability while ensuring seamless data integrity across complex environments.
As our MySQL DBA, you'll proactively monitor system health, implement robust backup and recovery protocols, and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks to guarantee 99.9% uptime. You'll collaborate closely with development teams to translate business requirements into efficient database solutions while adhering to industry best practices and compliance standards. Tanggung Jawab
- Manage, configure, and optimize MySQL database clusters for performance and reliability
- Implement database security protocols, access controls, and encryption standards
- Monitor database performance metrics and proactively resolve bottlenecks
- Design and execute backup/recovery procedures with RTO/RPO compliance
- Collaborate with development teams on database schema design and query optimization
- Document database architecture, procedures, and maintenance schedules
- Stay current with MySQL ecosystem developments and implement version upgrades
- Automate routine database tasks using scripting tools (Python/Shell)
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related technical field
- 3+ years of hands-on MySQL database administration experience
- Expertise in MySQL performance tuning, replication, and clustering solutions
- Strong knowledge of database security principles and compliance frameworks
- Experience with backup/automation tools (Percona XtraBackup, pt-table-checksum)
- Familiarity with cloud database platforms (AWS RDS, Azure Database)
- Certification (MySQL DBA, Oracle OCP) preferred
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
