Joinease Manufaktur Indonesia is seeking a highly motivated and experienced NPI Supervisor to lead our New Product Introduction initiatives at our Semarang facility. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the primary bridge between the design phase and full-scale mass production. You will be responsible for ensuring that all new product designs are manufactured efficiently, meeting rigorous quality standards while adhering to strict project timelines. This position requires a professional who can navigate the complexities of manufacturing engineering, project management, and cross-functional leadership.
As an NPI Supervisor, you will collaborate closely with R&D, Procurement, and Operations teams to translate technical specifications into viable production processes. You will oversee pilot runs, identify potential manufacturing bottlenecks, and implement innovative solutions to optimize yield and reduce costs. Tanggung Jawab
- Manage the end-to-end New Product Introduction (NPI) process from initial prototype through to mass production.
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams including Engineering, Quality, and Production to ensure project milestones are met.
- Oversee trial runs and pilot production stages to validate manufacturing feasibility and process capability.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive Bill of Materials (BOM) and technical manufacturing documentation.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve technical issues or production bottlenecks during the product launch phase.
- Establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for NPI projects, reporting progress to senior management.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure component readiness and supplier alignment for new products.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by conducting post-launch reviews to optimize production efficiency and quality.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in NPI, Manufacturing Engineering, or Production Management.
- Strong proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and CAD software is highly preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, Lean Six Sigma, and quality control standards.
- Excellent leadership abilities with experience managing diverse technical teams.
- Fluency in English (both written and verbal) is essential for technical reporting and communication.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
