Abhitech Matra Indah is seeking a highly motivated and strategic Ocean Freight Sales Assistant Manager to join our expanding team in Bekasi. In this pivotal role, you will lead sales initiatives, bridge communication with our Chinese-speaking partners, and optimize logistics solutions to drive business development.
You will be responsible for identifying new market opportunities, managing key account relationships, and negotiating freight rates to ensure competitive advantages. We are looking for a candidate who is not only fluent in Mandarin but also possesses a deep understanding of global shipping regulations and the local manufacturing landscape in West Java. Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to penetrate new markets and increase ocean freight volume.
- Act as the primary point of contact for Mandarin-speaking clients, ensuring seamless communication and relationship building.
- Negotiate complex service agreements with ocean carriers and logistics partners to optimize profitability.
- Lead and mentor junior sales staff to achieve monthly and quarterly performance targets.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to provide actionable insights for senior management.
- Coordinate with internal operations teams to ensure smooth cargo handling and delivery for key accounts.
- Participate in high-level client meetings to present tailored logistics solutions and proposals.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in ocean freight sales or international logistics.
- Mandarin proficiency (written and spoken) is mandatory for effective communication with regional partners.
- Strong negotiation skills with a deep understanding of global shipping lanes and freight pricing structures.
- Excellent leadership abilities with a demonstrated history of managing high-performing teams.
- High level of cultural awareness and experience working in multinational environments.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
