As the Ocean Freight Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets, expanding the customer base, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. You will work closely with operations and customer service teams to deliver seamless logistics solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the ocean freight sector.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to maximize profitability.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to stay ahead.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in ocean freight sales or business development.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong network within the logistics and shipping industry.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
