Sinar Mas Agribusiness and Food is currently seeking an Oil Loss Control Officer to join our team in Marunda, Bekasi. In this critical role, you will be the frontline guardian of our product quality and volume integrity.
As an Oil Loss Control Officer, you will work closely with our PSM (Perkebunan Sinar Mas) units to monitor and mitigate shrinkage across our CPO (Crude Palm Oil), PK (Palm Kernel), and PKO (Palm Kernel Oil) shipments. Whether managing transportation via truck or barge, your primary focus will be to ensure that our high-quality products reach their destination with minimal loss, optimizing our logistics efficiency and protecting the company's bottom line.

Tanggung Jawab
- Monitor and analyze shrinkage data for CPO, PK, and PKO shipments via truck and barge modes.
- Conduct regular field audits to verify loading and unloading procedures at designated PSM locations.
- Identify, investigate, and report root causes of product losses during the transportation cycle.
- Collaborate with logistics and warehouse teams to implement preventative measures against product leakage or shrinkage.
- Prepare comprehensive daily and monthly reports regarding loss metrics and mitigation effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs for product handling and documentation at every stage of the transit process.
- Provide technical support to unit managers in optimizing logistical workflows to minimize product exposure to loss.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in oil loss control, quality assurance, or logistics management, preferably in the palm oil industry.
- Strong analytical skills with a proficiency in data reporting and trend analysis (MS Excel/SAP/ERP).
- In-depth understanding of CPO, PK, and PKO product characteristics and handling requirements.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills to work effectively with diverse teams across different site locations.
- Willingness to perform field visits as required by operational needs.
- High integrity, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
