We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operational Tug & Barge Supervisor to join our team in Jakarta Utara. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the seamless execution of daily maritime operations, ensuring that our tug and barge fleet operates at peak efficiency while adhering to the highest safety and environmental standards.
The successful candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for vessel dispatch, voyage planning, and fleet monitoring. You will coordinate closely with captains, crew members, and logistics partners to manage scheduling, fuel consumption, and cargo movement. Tanggung Jawab
- Manage daily scheduling and dispatching of tug and barge units to optimize fleet utilization.
- Monitor real-time vessel movements, weather patterns, and port conditions to ensure safe and efficient voyage planning.
- Coordinate with port authorities, terminals, and clients to streamline loading and unloading operations.
- Maintain comprehensive logs of vessel activities, fuel consumption, and maintenance schedules.
- Ensure full compliance with maritime safety regulations, environmental policies, and company SOPs.
- Lead communication efforts between shore-based management and vessel crews to resolve operational bottlenecks.
- Oversee emergency response protocols and report any incidents according to internal safety guidelines.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum 3-5 years of proven experience in tug and barge operations or maritime logistics.
- Bachelor’s degree in Maritime Studies, Logistics, or a related field (or equivalent sea-going experience).
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian maritime regulations and international maritime safety standards (ISM Code).
- Proficiency in fleet management software and vessel tracking systems.
- Excellent communication skills, fluent in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities under pressure.
- Ability to work in a 24/7 operational environment with a high level of accountability.
