An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled Operations Manager specializing in Corporate Actions to join a leading financial institution based in Tampines. This contract role is integral to ensuring the accurate and timely processing of corporate events, operational controls, and the implementation of strategic improvements within a dynamic banking environment.
As the Operations Manager, you will take ownership of the end-to-end corporate actions lifecycle. This includes managing complex event processing, position reconciliations, income distribution, and stakeholder communication. You will lead a dedicated team of operations professionals, driving performance, efficiency, and a strong risk and control culture.

Tanggung Jawab
- Lead the processing of mandatory and voluntary corporate action events including dividends, mergers, acquisitions, and rights issues.
- Manage event lifecycle, position reconciliations, client elections, and accurate settlement instructions.
- Drive operational excellence by implementing robust controls, risk management practices, and process improvement initiatives.
- Liaise effectively with front office, risk, compliance, legal, and external custodians to resolve operational issues.
- Prepare and deliver management reporting on operational KPIs, outstanding issues, and project status.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and development to a team of operations analysts and officers.
- Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements and internal audit guidelines.
- Contribute to system enhancements, UAT testing, and ad-hoc project implementations.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in Corporate Actions Operations within banking or financial services.
- In-depth knowledge of financial instruments (equities, fixed income, derivatives) and corporate actions lifecycle.
- Proven track record in team management and talent development.
- Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to perform well under pressure and manage tight deadlines.
- A degree in Finance, Business, or a related field is strongly preferred.
