PERSOL is partnering with a leading FMCG manufacturing company in Karawang to appoint a skilled Operator Bubut (Lathe Machine Operator). In this role, you will be responsible for operating manual or semi-automated lathe machines to produce precision components required for high-speed manufacturing lines. We are looking for a detail-oriented professional who prioritizes safety and efficiency in a high-volume environment.
You will play a critical role in maintaining the uptime of our production facilities by ensuring all parts meet strict engineering tolerances. Tanggung Jawab
- Operate manual lathe machines to turn, bore, and face components according to technical drawings.
- Conduct regular quality checks using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Perform daily preventive maintenance on machines to ensure operational continuity.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders to complete tasks accurately.
- Ensure all activities adhere to strict Workplace Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards.
- Report any machine malfunctions or production delays to the supervisor immediately.
- Optimize material usage and minimize scrap rates during the machining process.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum vocational high school (SMK) degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Lathe Machine Operator (Operator Bubut) for at least 1-2 years.
- Proficiency in reading technical blueprints and engineering drawings.
- Solid understanding of metal properties and appropriate machining speeds/feeds.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work on a contract basis in a fast-paced FMCG manufacturing environment.
- Willing to be based in Karawang and work in a shift pattern.
