Pacific Shipping Works is a leading player in the maritime and heavy industry sector based in Cilegon, Banten. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Operator Bubut (Lathe Machinist) to join our production team. In this role, you will play a critical part in our manufacturing process, ensuring that high-precision components meet the stringent standards required for shipping and industrial infrastructure.
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating manual and semi-automatic lathe machines to fabricate, modify, or repair precision metal parts. You will work closely with our engineering team to interpret technical drawings and ensure that every piece produced maintains the highest level of quality and safety. Tanggung Jawab
- Set up and operate manual lathe machines to perform turning, facing, threading, and boring operations.
- Interpret complex engineering blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications accurately.
- Measure and inspect completed components using precision tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Perform regular machine maintenance, including cleaning, lubrication, and minor troubleshooting.
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace in compliance with occupational health and safety (K3) regulations.
- Collaborate with the workshop team to optimize production cycles and minimize material waste.
- Ensure that all fabricated parts adhere strictly to tolerance requirements and quality standards.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) majoring in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- At least 2-3 years of proven experience as a Lathe Operator (Operator Bubut) in an industrial or maritime environment.
- Strong proficiency in reading technical drawings and understanding geometric dimensions and tolerances.
- In-depth knowledge of various metals, alloys, and cutting tools.
- High level of physical stamina and ability to perform tasks in a manufacturing workshop environment.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety protocols and operational efficiency.
- Willingness to work in shifts and adapt to production schedules as required.
