AMMAN is currently seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Operator for Flash Smelting Furnace (FSF) / Flash Converting Furnace (FCF) to join our world-class smelting operations in Sumbawa Barat. This is a critical role within our processing facility, focused on ensuring the continuous production of high-quality matte and slag while maintaining strict adherence to operational parameters and safety protocols.
As an FSF/FCF Operator, you will play a vital role in our production chain, monitoring complex thermal processes and equipment performance to optimize output. The ideal candidate thrives in a high-pressure manufacturing environment, possesses a strong technical aptitude, and is committed to AMMAN's mission of sustainable and efficient mining and processing operations.
Tanggung Jawab
- Operate and monitor the FSF/FCF control systems to maintain optimal thermal and chemical process parameters.
- Ensure continuous production of matte and slag meeting specified quality and volume requirements.
- Perform regular equipment inspections and report any mechanical or process abnormalities to the maintenance team.
- Manage feed rates, oxygen enrichment, and fuel ratios to ensure stable furnace conditions.
- Execute emergency shutdown procedures correctly when necessary to prevent equipment damage or safety hazards.
- Maintain detailed production logs and shift reports to ensure process traceability and operational improvement.
- Participate in regular safety meetings and strictly adhere to all site HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) policies.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or Diploma Degree in Engineering, Metallurgy, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in smelting operations, preferably with FSF/FCF technology.
- In-depth understanding of pyrometallurgical processes and furnace control systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to act decisively during operational shifts.
- Proficient in reading technical drawings, process flow diagrams, and instrumentation displays.
- Ability to work in a rotating shift schedule and perform effectively in a physically demanding environment.
