Tanggung Jawab
- Interpret design sketches, technical specifications, and mood boards to develop precise and accurate patterns for a diverse range of streetwear garments (e.g., t-shirts, hoodies, pants, jackets, activewear).
- Create first patterns, production patterns, and markers utilizing both manual pattern drafting techniques and advanced CAD pattern-making software.
- Conduct thorough fit sessions, identify potential issues, and make necessary adjustments and refinements to patterns to ensure optimal fit, comfort, and aesthetic appeal across all sizes.
- Accurately grade patterns for various sizes according to industry standards and specific brand sizing charts.
- Collaborate closely with designers, sample makers, and production teams throughout the entire development process to ensure design intent, quality standards, and production efficiencies are consistently met.
- Maintain a comprehensive and organized library of patterns, blocks, and technical documentation for future reference and production.
- Research and stay actively updated on new pattern-making techniques, technologies, fabric innovations, and emerging streetwear trends.
- Advise on fabric suitability, construction methods, and production efficiencies from a pattern perspective to optimize garment quality and cost.
Kualifikasi
- Proven experience (minimum 3-5 years) as a Pattern Maker, with a strong portfolio showcasing work specifically within the apparel or streetwear industry.
- Strong proficiency in both manual pattern drafting and digital pattern-making software (e.g., Gerber AccuMark, Optitex, Lectra Modaris, or similar industry-standard CAD systems).
- In-depth knowledge of garment construction, fabric properties, textile limitations, and manufacturing processes relevant to streetwear.
- Excellent understanding of fit, grading principles, and sizing standards across different garment types.
- Ability to interpret complex design concepts and translate them into functional, production-ready patterns.
- Exceptional attention to detail, precision, and strong problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including designers, sample makers, and production managers.
- A degree or diploma in Fashion Design, Pattern Making, Garment Technology, or a related field is preferred.
