Are you an experienced leader in the heavy manufacturing sector with a passion for operational excellence? Steel Pipe Industry of Indonesia is seeking a high-caliber Plant Manager to spearhead our production facilities in Jawa Timur. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of plant operations, focusing on strategic growth, productivity optimization, and the implementation of long-term scaling initiatives.
As our Plant Manager, you will lead a diverse team of technical professionals and shop-floor staff to ensure safety, quality, and output targets are not only met but exceeded. We are looking for a visionary leader who can drive process improvements, oversee capital expenditure projects, and foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement within a demanding manufacturing environment.
Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and execute comprehensive strategic plans to increase plant capacity and overall operational productivity.
- Oversee daily plant operations, ensuring seamless workflow from raw material intake to final product shipment.
- Implement and monitor KPIs to track production efficiency, waste reduction, and quality control metrics.
- Manage the facility budget, including capital investments, maintenance costs, and operational expenditures.
- Ensure full compliance with local environmental regulations, health and safety standards, and labor laws.
- Lead, mentor, and build a high-performing production team, fostering a culture of accountability and professional growth.
- Coordinate with supply chain and logistics departments to optimize inventory levels and distribution timelines.
- Drive continuous improvement projects utilizing Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of leadership experience in a heavy manufacturing or steel pipe production environment.
- Proven track record in driving large-scale production improvements and scaling operations.
- Strong technical understanding of steel manufacturing processes, heavy machinery, and industrial automation.
- Expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and Six Sigma principles.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage large cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in English and Bahasa Indonesia is required for effective stakeholder communication.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and project management capabilities.
