Are you an experienced maritime leader ready to steer operations in one of Indonesia's key industrial hubs? SOECHI is looking for a highly skilled Port Captain (ANT 2) to oversee our vessel activities in Palembang, Sumatera Selatan. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the daily management of port operations, ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols, Indonesian maritime regulations, and environmental standards.
You will lead a team of deck officers and ratings, ensuring crew competency and well-being while maintaining vessel readiness for commercial and emergency operations. Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee all vessel operations in the port of Palembang, ensuring compliance with national and international maritime regulations.
- Manage crew scheduling, training, and welfare to ensure high team performance and safety standards.
- Coordinate closely with port authorities, logistics coordinators, and government agencies for smooth clearance and operations.
- Conduct regular safety drills, inspections, and emergency response simulations.
- Monitor vessel maintenance schedules and coordinate necessary repairs to prevent downtime.
- Ensure all operational documentation, logs, and reports are accurate and up-to-date.
- Act as the primary point of contact during emergency response situations.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering, Nautical Science, or a related field.
- Valid ANT 2 Captain License (Kapten ANT 2) issued by the Indonesian government.
- At least 5-7 years of experience in maritime operations, with a significant portion spent in port management.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Valid STCW (Standards of Training, Certification, and Watchkeeping) certificates.
- Deep understanding of Indonesian maritime laws and environmental protection regulations.
- Ability to work under pressure and make critical decisions in emergency situations.
