Tanggung Jawab
- Conduct regular inspections of ship machinery, equipment, and systems to ensure optimal performance
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on engine room components and auxiliary systems
- Coordinate with ship captains and crew to address technical issues and operational concerns
- Manage inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment for efficient maintenance operations
- Prepare detailed technical reports, documentation, and compliance records
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols, environmental regulations, and industry standards
- Collaborate with shore-based technical teams to resolve complex mechanical problems
- Train and mentor junior engineering staff on best practices and procedures
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- Certification as a Marine Engineer or equivalent professional qualification
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in ship maintenance and port engineering
- Strong knowledge of marine propulsion systems, auxiliary machinery, and electrical systems
- Familiarity with international maritime regulations and safety standards
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in emergency situations
- Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate effectively with diverse teams
- Physical fitness capable of working in confined spaces and lifting heavy equipment
