Are you an experienced procurement professional looking to make a strategic impact at Indesso? We are seeking a highly skilled and results-oriented Principal Buyer to join our team in Cileungsi. In this critical role, you will be the driving force behind our end-to-end purchasing strategy, ensuring that our supply chain operations remain efficient, compliant, and cost-effective.
As a Principal Buyer, you will not only oversee complex procurement lifecycles but also play a pivotal role in maintaining our quality standards by managing non-conforming products and supporting rigorous internal and external audits. You will act as a key liaison between internal stakeholders and global suppliers, fostering relationships that ensure business continuity and operational excellence.

Tanggung Jawab
- Lead end-to-end procurement processes, from vendor sourcing and selection to contract negotiation and final delivery.
- Manage and resolve issues related to non-conforming products, conducting root-cause analysis and implementing corrective actions with suppliers.
- Support and lead internal/external audit processes to ensure total compliance with ISO and industry-specific manufacturing standards.
- Coordinate seamlessly with cross-functional stakeholders, including Production, Quality Assurance, and Finance, to align procurement activities with business goals.
- Optimize procurement costs through strategic sourcing, bulk negotiation, and inventory management practices.
- Monitor market trends and supplier performance metrics to proactively mitigate supply chain risks.
- Develop and mentor junior procurement staff to foster a high-performance culture within the department.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in procurement or strategic sourcing, ideally within the manufacturing sector.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong working knowledge of quality management systems and experience in handling audit requirements.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills in both English and Indonesian.
- Proven ability to manage multiple high-priority projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Professional certification (e.g., CPIM, CSCP, or equivalent) is considered a distinct advantage.
