Are you an experienced procurement professional with a deep understanding of the flexographic printing and flexible packaging industry? We are currently representing a leading manufacturer in Surabaya looking for a strategic Procurement Manager to lead our end-to-end supply chain sourcing operations.
In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing our procurement strategies, managing high-value vendor relationships, and ensuring the seamless acquisition of raw materialsâspecifically substrates, inks, and chemicalsâcritical to our high-speed printing production lines. The ideal candidate will combine technical packaging knowledge with strong commercial acumen to drive cost-efficiency and quality control across our supply chain.
Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and execute comprehensive procurement strategies for raw materials specific to the flexographic packaging industry.
- Manage end-to-end supplier lifecycle, including vetting, negotiation, contracting, and ongoing performance evaluation.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to forecast material requirements and maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Monitor market trends and commodity pricing to identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate supply chain risks.
- Implement stringent quality assurance protocols for all incoming materials to ensure compliance with printing standards.
- Maintain effective cross-functional communication with internal stakeholders to align procurement goals with operational capacity.
- Oversee vendor audits to ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and ethical standards.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelorâs degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5-7 years of procurement or supply chain experience, ideally within the flexible packaging or printing industry.
- In-depth technical knowledge of flexographic materials, including films, polymers, and specialized printing inks.
- Proven track record of successful vendor contract negotiations and cost reduction initiatives.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in ERP systems and procurement software.
- Exceptional leadership abilities with experience managing teams in a high-pressure manufacturing environment.
- Fluency in Indonesian and English, both written and verbal.
