Are you a seasoned procurement professional with deep expertise in the heavy equipment and automotive sector? We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our team in Balikpapan. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for streamlining our supply chain operations, ensuring the availability of critical spare parts, and managing strategic relationships with vendors to maintain the operational efficiency of our heavy machinery and vehicle fleet.
The successful candidate will lead the purchasing strategy, optimizing costs without compromising on quality or turnaround time for repairs. You will work closely with maintenance teams and external stakeholders to navigate the complex logistics of the Kalimantan region, ensuring that our inventory levels support continuous site operations.
Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and execute comprehensive procurement strategies for heavy equipment spare parts and vehicle repair components.
- Manage end-to-end purchasing processes, including sourcing, vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management.
- Coordinate with the maintenance department to forecast demand and maintain optimal inventory levels for critical equipment parts.
- Identify and vet new suppliers, fostering strong partnerships to ensure reliable lead times and competitive pricing.
- Analyze purchasing data and market trends to provide cost-saving recommendations and process improvements.
- Oversee compliance with company purchasing policies and regulatory requirements for international/domestic imports.
- Monitor vendor performance and resolve issues related to part quality, shipping delays, or procurement documentation.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum of 5-7 years of professional experience in procurement, specifically within heavy equipment, mining support, or automotive repair industries.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of heavy equipment parts (caterpillar, komatsu, etc.) and vendor networks in Kalimantan/Indonesia.
- Proven ability to negotiate high-value contracts and manage large-scale procurement budgets.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP/Inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in both Indonesian and English.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced, industrial, or site-based environment.
