We are seeking a detail-oriented and passionate Producer to join our Chinese News team at MediaCorp. In this dynamic role, you'll shape compelling news narratives by overseeing the entire production lifecycle—from concept development and scripting to final broadcast delivery. You'll collaborate with journalists, editors, and technical teams to ensure stories meet rigorous journalistic standards while engaging Singapore's diverse Chinese-speaking audience. Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee end-to-end news production including planning, scripting, editing, and final delivery
- Collaborate with journalists to develop compelling story angles and content strategies
- Ensure editorial accuracy, timeliness, and cultural relevance of Chinese news content
- Coordinate production logistics including studio shoots, location filming, and post-production
- Manage broadcast schedules and coordinate cross-functional teams to meet deadlines
- Maintain journalistic standards while optimizing content for digital and broadcast platforms
- Stay current with regional news trends and audience preferences
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Media Production or related field
- 3+ years experience in news production, editing, or broadcast journalism
- Native fluency in Mandarin (written/spoken) and professional English proficiency
- Expertise in news scripting, story structuring, and editorial decision-making
- Proficiency with production software (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro) and broadcast systems
- Strong project management skills with ability to deliver under tight deadlines
- Deep understanding of Singapore media landscape and Chinese community dynamics
