Tanggung Jawab
- Lead the end-to-end product development process for new beauty products, from concept generation and feasibility studies to formulation, testing, and commercialization.
- Conduct thorough market research and trend analysis to identify consumer needs, competitive landscapes, and innovation opportunities within the beauty industry.
- Collaborate closely with R&D teams to develop innovative and effective product formulations, ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., BPOM in Indonesia).
- Manage relationships with external suppliers, manufacturers, and contract developers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality raw materials and finished goods.
- Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule and within financial targets.
- Oversee product testing protocols, including stability, compatibility, consumer trials, and claims substantiation.
- Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, and Supply Chain teams to ensure successful product launches and effective go-to-market strategies.
- Monitor product performance post-launch and identify opportunities for product improvements, reformulations, or line extensions.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in product development within the beauty, cosmetics, or personal care industry.
- Proven track record of successfully launching innovative beauty products from concept to market.
- Strong understanding of cosmetic raw materials, formulation principles, manufacturing processes, and quality control standards.
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements for beauty products in Indonesia (e.g., BPOM) and experience navigating the approval process.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and external partners.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities and a strategic approach to product innovation.
