OSI Electronics is a leading global provider of electronics manufacturing services, and we are currently seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Production Planner to join our team in Batam. In this pivotal role, you will be the backbone of our operational efficiency, ensuring that our production lines run smoothly, materials are optimized, and customer commitments are met with precision.
As a Production Planner, you will bridge the gap between sales forecasts and shop floor execution. You will be responsible for master scheduling, material requirement planning (MRP), and shop floor dispatching. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, possesses strong analytical skills, and has a proven track record of maintaining high service levels while minimizing inventory costs.
Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and maintain accurate master production schedules based on sales forecasts and order intake.
- Monitor and track work-in-progress (WIP) to ensure schedule adherence and identify potential bottlenecks.
- Coordinate with purchasing and warehouse teams to ensure timely availability of components and raw materials.
- Analyze production capacity and make recommendations to improve throughput and efficiency.
- Execute shop floor scheduling and dispatching to maximize equipment utilization.
- Generate and analyze weekly/monthly production reports to track KPIs and identify trends.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production delays and supply chain disruptions.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in production planning or material control within an electronics manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in ERP software (SAP, Oracle, or similar) is essential.
- Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing, JIT, and Kanban principles.
- Advanced analytical skills with a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively between departments.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight production deadlines.
