OSI Electronics is a leading global electronics manufacturing services (EMS) provider, and we are currently seeking a highly motivated Program Engineer to join our dynamic team in Batam. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the primary technical liaison, bridging the gap between our clients' product requirements and our internal manufacturing processes.
You will be responsible for overseeing the product lifecycle from prototype to mass production, ensuring that all quality standards are met or exceeded. Tanggung Jawab
- Manage the NPI (New Product Introduction) process, ensuring seamless transitions from design to full-scale manufacturing.
- Act as the primary technical contact for clients, addressing engineering queries and providing regular status updates.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality, Production, and Supply Chain to resolve technical issues.
- Monitor and analyze production yields to identify root causes of defects and implement corrective actions.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including BOMs, assembly instructions, and technical specifications.
- Ensure strict adherence to quality management systems and escalate potential non-conformances to senior management immediately.
- Optimize assembly processes to improve efficiency, reduce cycle times, and minimize material waste.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in an EMS or high-volume electronics manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in interpreting technical drawings, PCB layouts, and complex BOM structures.
- Strong problem-solving skills with familiarity in root cause analysis tools (8D, Ishikawa, etc.).
- Excellent communication skills in both Indonesian and English, with the ability to interact effectively with international clients.
- Solid understanding of ISO 9001 quality standards and IPC manufacturing specifications.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with ERP systems (SAP or Oracle preferred).
