We are currently looking for an experienced Project Engineer / Manager (Electrical / Substation) to lead critical projects from our East Region base.
The Role
As a key member of the project management team, you will oversee the full lifecycle of electrical substation projects, including 22kV/66kV switchgear, transformers, and associated control systems. You will act as the main technical liaison, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure strict adherence to safety regulations (e.g., EMA requirements). This role requires strong leadership to guide a team of engineers and technicians towards successful project delivery.

Tanggung Jawab
- Manage and oversee the full project lifecycle of electrical substation projects (22kV/66kV) from design to commissioning.
- Prepare project budgets, schedules, and resource plans; monitor project progress and ensure milestones are met.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and utility authorities (e.g., SP Group) for technical approvals and site requirements.
- Review engineering drawings, SLDs, protection schemes, and technical specifications.
- Conduct site inspections, ensure compliance with safety regulations (WSH, LEW requirements), and resolve technical issues.
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers and technicians, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
- Prepare detailed project reports, progress claims, and variation orders.
- Ensure project documentation and testing/commissioning records are complete and compliant.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in electrical engineering, specifically in substation or power system projects in Singapore.
- Strong knowledge of high voltage switchgear, transformers, SCADA, protection relays, and control systems.
- Proven track record in managing projects from concept to completion, including budget and timeline management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW) or Chartered Engineer (CEng) status is highly advantageous.
- Proficient in MS Project, AutoCAD, and other project management software.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
