PT. Yuanquan Steel Indonesia is a prominent player in the steel and manufacturing sector, dedicated to delivering high-quality metal solutions. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Purchasing Staff to join our dynamic team in Tangerang.
As a Purchasing Staff member, you will play a critical role in our supply chain, ensuring the efficient procurement of materials that keep our production lines moving. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the steel and iron industry, strong negotiation skills, and a proven track record of maintaining healthy relationships with suppliers. Tanggung Jawab
- Execute the end-to-end procurement process, from requisition to delivery, specifically for industrial steel and raw materials.
- Source and evaluate reliable suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, high quality, and timely delivery.
- Negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing with vendors to optimize company costs.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent stockouts while avoiding overstock situations.
- Coordinate with internal production teams to forecast material requirements accurately.
- Prepare comprehensive purchase orders and maintain accurate procurement documentation and records.
- Conduct regular market research to stay updated on steel industry pricing trends and supply availability.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 2-3 years of proven experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably within the steel, metal, or heavy manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is a must) and familiarity with ERP/Inventory management software.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills with a keen eye for cost-saving opportunities.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet strict deadlines, and manage multiple vendor relationships simultaneously.
- Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia; professional proficiency in English or Mandarin is considered a significant advantage.
- High integrity, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
