Yamaha Motor is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA New Model Staff to join our manufacturing excellence team in Pulo Gadung, Jakarta. In this critical role, you will be at the forefront of product quality, ensuring that our new motorcycle models meet the high-performance standards that Yamaha is globally renowned for.
As part of our Quality Assurance department, you will play a pivotal role in the lifecycle of new product development. From Minor Changes and Color Changes to the launch of entirely New Models, your evaluation will directly impact the reliability and safety of our products. Tanggung Jawab
- Lead quality evaluation processes for New Models, Minor Changes, and Color Changes.
- Perform comprehensive part evaluations to ensure compliance with Yamaha’s global engineering standards.
- Coordinate with R&D and Production departments to troubleshoot quality issues during the pre-production phase.
- Conduct systematic data collection and analysis to support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor and document quality metrics throughout the production lifecycle to reduce defect rates.
- Participate in technical audits and cross-functional meetings to ensure project timelines are met.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) based on evaluation findings.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in Quality Assurance, specifically within the automotive or manufacturing sector.
- Strong understanding of quality management systems (ISO 9001, IATF 16949 is a plus).
- Proficiency in using precision measurement tools and engineering software (CAD/CAE familiarity is a plus).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure manufacturing environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate technical data clearly to cross-functional teams.
