We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented QC Coordinator / Inspector to uphold and enhance the quality standards of their exquisite furniture products.
In this critical role, you will be the gatekeeper of quality, ensuring every piece that leaves the workshop meets the highest benchmarks of durability, finish, and design accuracy. You will orchestrate rigorous inspection protocols across various stages of production, from the initial selection of raw materials (including premium teak and mahogany) to the final pre-shipment audit.
You will lead a team of inspectors, fostering a culture of precision and continuous improvement. Your insights will directly influence production methodologies, helping to reduce waste and rework while ensuring complete client satisfaction. Your deep understanding of wood properties, joinery techniques, and finishing processes will be crucial. By collaborating closely with production managers and floor supervisors, you will implement corrective actions and preventive measures that solidify the company's reputation for world-class craftsmanship.

Tanggung Jawab
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive Quality Control procedures for all furniture production stages, from raw material inspection to final packing.
- Lead, train, and supervise a team of QC inspectors, ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures (SOP) and quality benchmarks.
- Conduct regular inspections of incoming wood materials, hardware, and finishes to ensure conformity with required specifications.
- Monitor in-process production to identify defects, deviations, or non-conformities, and collaborate with production teams to implement immediate corrective actions.
- Oversee the final inspection of finished furniture products, ensuring they meet client requirements, dimensional accuracy, and aesthetic standards.
- Analyze quality data and generate detailed reports on defect rates, rework costs, and product traceability for management review.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to address raw material quality issues and ensure continuous supply chain improvement.
- Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen/5S) within the production floor to optimize efficiency and minimize waste.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree (S1) in Industrial Engineering, Wood Technology, Furniture Design, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of working experience in Quality Control within the furniture manufacturing industry, preferably with export-oriented companies.
- Strong knowledge of wood types, wood defects, finishing processes (lacquer, PU, NC), and furniture construction techniques.
- Familiarity with international quality standards (ISO 9001, ASTM, BS) and inspection techniques (AQL sampling, visual inspection).
- Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team of inspectors.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting and data analysis.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively between production, warehouse, and management teams.
