PT. Wavin Manufacturing Indonesia, a proud business of Orbia, is an international leader in the plastic piping industry. With our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility located in Kawasan Industri Terpadu Batang (KITB), Central Java, we are dedicated to delivering innovative, sustainable water management solutions. We are currently looking for a precise and detail-oriented QC Inspector to join our dynamic team.
As a QC Inspector, you will be instrumental in ensuring that our manufacturing outputs meet Wavin\'s strict global standards as well as local SNI certifications. You will monitor the quality of raw materials, in-process production run parameters, and finished goods. This contract position offers a fantastic opportunity to work in a world-class facility, utilizing advanced quality control technologies and contributing to major infrastructure solutions.
Tanggung Jawab
- Perform routine and random quality inspections on raw materials, in-process outputs, and finished plastic piping products.
- Conduct physical, thermal, and mechanical laboratory tests in accordance with ISO, SNI, and Wavin\'s global testing procedures.
- Document precise inspection reports, log daily quality metrics, and flag any deviations from standard specifications.
- Identify, segregate, and report non-conforming materials or products, and actively participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Calibrate and maintain laboratory testing instruments and quality measurement tools on a regular schedule.
- Collaborate closely with production operators and supervisors to rectify quality issues promptly on the shop floor.
- Adhere strictly to company safety, health, and environmental (SHE) regulations during all inspection procedures.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor\'s Degree (S1) in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Material Science, or a related technical discipline.
- At least 1 to 2 years of proven experience as a Quality Control Inspector, preferably within plastic extrusion, injection molding, or building materials manufacturing.
- Familiarity with standard quality tools (calipers, micrometers, pressure testers) and quality management frameworks (ISO 9001).
- Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail and accurate data reporting capabilities.
- Willingness to work in shifts and be based at the manufacturing facility in Batang, Central Java.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
