About the Role
Siam Cement Group (SCG) is seeking a meticulous and highly motivated Quality Control Specialist to join our operations in Karawang. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for upholding the world-class quality standards that SCG is known for. You will serve as the primary link between our internal quality requirements and our Contract Manufacturing (CM) partners, ensuring that every batch of concrete produced meets stringent technical specifications and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
As a QC Specialist, you are not just an inspector; you are a quality advocate. You will work closely with manufacturing partners to identify potential risks in the production line, optimize concrete mix designs, and ensure that all logistics and manufacturing processes align with our commitment to excellence. Tanggung Jawab
- Supervise and monitor Contract Manufacturing (CM) partners to ensure 100% adherence to SCG’s concrete quality SOPs.
- Conduct regular on-site inspections and material testing to verify the integrity of raw materials and finished products.
- Collaborate with the production team to troubleshoot quality deviations and implement immediate corrective actions.
- Evaluate and validate the accuracy of testing equipment and laboratory procedures at partner facilities.
- Prepare comprehensive daily and weekly quality reports for regional management, highlighting performance metrics and areas for improvement.
- Facilitate technical training for partner staff regarding new quality standards and production techniques.
- Ensure all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) protocols are strictly followed during the quality control process.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Quality Control or Quality Assurance, specifically within the concrete, cement, or construction industry.
- In-depth knowledge of concrete mix designs and international testing standards (ASTM/ISO/SNI).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage relationships with third-party partners.
- Willingness to be based in Karawang and travel to various site locations as required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and quality management software.
