South Asia Knitting Factory Limited is currently seeking a highly skilled Quality Controller / Quality Manager to oversee our high-end sweater production lines. In this critical role, you will be based in Vietnam, ensuring that our manufacturing processes meet the highest international standards for quality, durability, and craftsmanship. You will lead the QA/QC team to uphold our reputation for excellence in the textile industry.
The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing robust quality assurance frameworks, managing inspection protocols from raw materials to final packaging, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to minimize defect rates. Tanggung Jawab
- Establish and enforce stringent quality standards across all stages of sweater production, from yarn selection to final shipment.
- Manage the inspection of raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products to ensure compliance with client specifications.
- Conduct regular site audits and performance evaluations of production lines to identify and resolve quality bottlenecks.
- Supervise, mentor, and train the local quality team to improve technical proficiency and inspection accuracy.
- Analyze quality data and defect trends, providing actionable insights and corrective action plans (CAPA) to production management.
- Coordinate with production and merchandising teams to ensure timely resolution of quality-related issues without compromising delivery schedules.
- Ensure all documentation for quality audits is meticulously maintained and compliant with international textile manufacturing standards.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Garment Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of hands-on experience in Quality Assurance/Control, specifically within a sweater/knitwear manufacturing environment.
- Deep understanding of knitwear construction, yarn properties, and finishing processes.
- Proven ability to interpret technical specifications, fit comments, and testing reports.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to quality management.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams in an international setting.
- Willingness to be stationed in Vietnam for extended periods.
