Are you a textile expert with a passion for innovation and color precision? Pelangi Elasindo, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a highly skilled R&D and Quality Improvement Specialist (Dyeing) to join our dynamic production team in Jakarta Barat.
In this role, you will be the driving force behind our dyeing processes, ensuring that we maintain the highest standards of color consistency, fabric integrity, and production efficiency. You will bridge the gap between laboratory innovation and large-scale manufacturing, optimizing chemical formulations and troubleshooting technical challenges to ensure our products stand out in the competitive textile market. Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and refine innovative dyeing recipes and chemical processes to enhance fabric quality and reduce production waste.
- Conduct regular testing and analysis of dyed fabrics to ensure compliance with international colorfastness and durability standards.
- Lead root-cause analysis for production defects and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Collaborate with the procurement team to evaluate and qualify new dyestuffs, auxiliaries, and chemical suppliers.
- Monitor and optimize the performance of dyeing machinery to ensure maximum output and energy efficiency.
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports and documentation for all R&D trials and process improvements.
- Train and mentor production staff on standardized dyeing procedures and safety protocols.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's Degree in Textile Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in textile dyeing operations, specifically within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of various fiber types (polyester, nylon, cotton) and dyeing machine technology (Jet, Beam, Jigger).
- Proficiency in color matching, spectrophotometry, and computerized color management systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement (Lean/Six Sigma knowledge is a plus).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively under strict production deadlines.
- Fluent in Indonesian and proficient in English for technical communication.
