Are you a passionate chemist looking to innovate within a dynamic manufacturing environment? Silkflex is seeking a detail-oriented and driven R&D Chemist to join our expanding team in Port Klang. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in the lifecycle of our product development, from initial conceptualization to final testing and protocol implementation.
As an R&D Chemist at Silkflex, you will be at the forefront of chemical innovation. You will work closely with our production and quality assurance teams to ensure that our formulations meet the highest standards of safety, performance, and efficiency. We are looking for a candidate who is eager to troubleshoot technical challenges, optimize existing formulas, and contribute to the research and development of sustainable and cutting-edge chemical solutions.
Tanggung Jawab
- Plan, execute, and document research and development projects following established protocols.
- Develop and refine chemical formulations to enhance product performance and cost-efficiency.
- Conduct rigorous analytical testing and quality control assessments for new product samples.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to transition products from lab-scale to full-scale production.
- Monitor and analyze experimental data to derive actionable insights for continuous improvement.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with safety and environmental health regulations.
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports and documentation for management review.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Polymer Science, or a related chemical engineering field.
- Proven laboratory experience, preferably within the chemical manufacturing or industrial sector.
- Strong understanding of chemical analysis techniques, instrumentation, and laboratory safety procedures.
- Ability to interpret complex data and translate findings into technical reports.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a meticulous approach to detail.
- Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia (proficient in technical writing).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple research projects simultaneously.
