- Design and synthesize novel catalysts for biomass conversion to fuels
- Conduct comprehensive characterization of catalyst materials using advanced analytical techniques
- Optimize catalytic processes for maximum efficiency and selectivity
- Analyze experimental data and develop mechanistic understanding of catalytic reactions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary research teams and industry partners
- Prepare research reports, manuscripts for publication, and presentations at conferences
- Supervise junior researchers and contribute to grant applications
Kualifikasi
- PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Chemistry, or related field
- Strong background in catalysis, heterogeneous catalysis preferred
- Experience with catalyst synthesis, characterization, and testing
- Proficiency in analytical techniques (XRD, TEM, XPS, etc.)
- Excellent research skills and publication record
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Experience with biomass conversion or renewable energy research is a plus
