Tanggung Jawab
- Execute complex wet lab experiments focused on RNA and DNA-targeted drug discovery, ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Manage daily laboratory operations, including equipment maintenance, inventory management of reagents, and procurement of essential materials.
- Collaborate with Principal Investigators and post-doctoral researchers to troubleshoot experimental protocols and optimize workflow efficiencies.
- Ensure full compliance with institutional safety standards, biosafety regulations, and ethical guidelines.
- Maintain detailed and accurate laboratory notebooks and digital records to ensure data integrity for research publications.
- Oversee the preparation and calibration of specialized analytical equipment to support high-throughput screening initiatives.
- Facilitate the onboarding and training of new staff or students on laboratory protocols and instrument usage.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Chemical Biology, or a related life sciences discipline.
- Hands-on experience with molecular biology techniques such as PCR, cloning, cell culture, and nucleic acid extraction.
- Proven ability to manage laboratory logistics, inventory, and equipment maintenance in an academic or industrial setting.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
- Familiarity with drug discovery processes and high-throughput screening methodologies is highly advantageous.
- Proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., Prism, R, or Python) is a significant plus.
