Yayasan Jejak Pulang is seeking a dedicated and proactive Safety Officer to join our team in Samboja, Kalimantan Timur. In this role, you will be the backbone of our operational safety, ensuring that our team can carry out vital conservation work in a secure, compliant, and hazard-free environment.
As a Safety Officer, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing safety protocols that protect both our personnel and the delicate ecosystem we strive to preserve. You will be responsible for emergency preparedness, conducting safety audits, and fostering a culture of health and safety that aligns with our mission of sustainability and wildlife protection. Tanggung Jawab
- Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards in conservation areas and operational facilities.
- Lead emergency response planning and organize safety drills, including fire safety and evacuation procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of safety incidents, near-misses, and investigations, providing regular reports to management.
- Ensure compliance with local environmental and occupational health regulations.
- Conduct safety training sessions for staff and volunteers to promote a proactive safety culture.
- Monitor and manage the distribution and maintenance of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety (K3), Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a safety officer role, preferably in remote or field-based environments.
- Possession of a valid K3 certification (General K3/K3 Umum) is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian safety regulations and emergency management protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence staff at all levels.
- Proficiency in risk assessment methodologies and incident reporting systems.
- Strong commitment to wildlife conservation and sustainability principles.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote location and adapt to changing site conditions.
