Tanggung Jawab
- Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) programs and policies in accordance with DOLE standards and relevant national regulations.
- Conduct regular workplace inspections, risk assessments, and hazard analyses to identify potential dangers and recommend effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Investigate all workplace incidents, accidents, near-misses, and occupational diseases, determining root causes and implementing measures to prevent recurrence.
- Provide engaging and mandatory safety training to employees at all levels, covering topics such as emergency preparedness, proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and safe operating procedures.
- Ensure strict compliance with all pertinent OHS laws, regulations, and company safety guidelines across all manufacturing operations.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of safety inspections, incidents, training activities, and corrective action plans.
- Promote and reinforce a strong, proactive safety culture throughout the organization through effective communication, awareness campaigns, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Oversee the proper handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials in compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field; or equivalent extensive practical experience.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience as a Safety Officer, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment, preferably food processing.
- Possession of a valid DOLE-accredited Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) certificate (e.g., BOSH, COSH, SO2, SO3).
- Strong knowledge of Philippine OHS laws and regulations (e.g., RA 11058, DOLE Department Orders, and OSH standards).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence all levels of staff.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct thorough investigations, perform analytical problem-solving, and provide sound recommendations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting, documentation, and data analysis.
- Proactive, highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team.
