Tanggung Jawab
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of computational pipelines and analytical strategies for large-scale cancer genomic and multi-omics data (e.g., WGS, WES, RNA-seq, single-cell sequencing, spatial transcriptomics).
- Perform advanced statistical analyses and apply machine learning techniques to identify novel cancer driver genes, pathways, biomarkers, and therapeutic vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate closely with experimental biologists and clinicians to integrate computational findings with laboratory validation and clinical translation efforts.
- Develop and maintain robust bioinformatics tools and databases to facilitate data management, analysis, and visualization within the laboratory.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in computational biology, cancer genomics, and precision medicine, actively proposing and evaluating new methodologies.
- Prepare high-quality scientific manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals and present research findings at national and international conferences.
- Contribute to grant writing and project proposals to secure funding for cutting-edge research initiatives.
Kualifikasi
- PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Genomics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of postdoctoral research experience in computational cancer genomics or a closely related area.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, and/or Java for data analysis and algorithm development.
- Extensive experience with genomic data analysis tools, databases, and resources (e.g., GATK, samtools, bedtools, TCGA, ICGC).
- Strong understanding of cancer biology, molecular genetics, and next-generation sequencing technologies.
- Demonstrated track record of scientific publications in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced research environment.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex computational concepts to diverse audiences.
