- Design and execute high-throughput metagenomic research projects focused on spatio-temporal data analysis.
- Develop and optimize bioinformatics pipelines for processing complex environmental or clinical genomic datasets.
- Utilize GIS technologies to perform spatial modeling of microbial communities and their impact on public health.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including bioinformaticians, data scientists, and medical clinicians, to interpret experimental findings.
- Draft high-impact scientific publications and technical reports for peer-reviewed journals and internal stakeholders.
- Maintain and implement rigorous quality control measures for data integrity and storage.
- Present research outcomes at departmental seminars and relevant international conferences.
Kualifikasi
- PhD in Bioinformatics, Genomics, Computational Biology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in metagenomics analysis and familiarity with NGS (Next-Generation Sequencing) workflows.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Bash for large-scale data manipulation.
- Demonstrated expertise in GIS software (e.g., QGIS, ArcGIS) and spatial statistical modeling.
- A strong publication record in reputable scientific journals.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, structured research narratives.
- Prior experience with high-performance computing (HPC) environments is highly preferred.
