Are you an experienced deck officer looking for your next challenge? We have an excellent opportunity for a certified Second Officer to join our fleet in Indonesia. This contract-based role offers the chance to work with modern vessels and a professional multicultural team.
As a Second Officer, you will be a vital part of the bridge team. Your expertise with Radar Simulator / Radio Detection and Ranging, ARPA Simulator / Automatic Radar Plotting Aids, and Electronic Chart Display and Information Systems (ECDIS) will be fully utilized. You will take charge of navigational watches, assist in passage planning, and ensure the vessel operates within the highest safety and environmental standards.
The ideal candidate will hold a valid STCW II/1 certificate and have significant sea time. You will be responsible for the maintenance of lifesaving and fire-fighting equipment, updating nautical charts, and training junior crew members. A strong command of maritime English and familiarity with the ISM Code are essential for success in this role.

Tanggung Jawab
- Standing navigational watches at sea and in port, ensuring the safe navigation of the vessel in accordance with COLREGs.
- Assisting the Chief Officer and Master with comprehensive passage planning.
- Operating, monitoring, and maintaining radar systems, ARPA, and ECDIS equipment.
- Ensuring the safe stowage, carriage, and discharge of cargo.
- Maintaining and correcting nautical charts, publications, and navigational records.
- Supervising the maintenance and inspection of life-saving and fire-fighting appliances.
- Conducting regular drills and training sessions for the crew.
- Assisting with pilotage, mooring, and anchoring operations in various ports.
Kualifikasi
- Valid STCW II/1 Certificate of Competency (Second Officer / Officer in Charge of a Navigational Watch).
- Advanced training certificates in Radar Navigation, ARPA, and ECDIS (Model Courses 1.07, 1.08, 1.27).
- Minimum 12 months of sea service as a Third Officer or equivalent rank.
- Proven practical knowledge of ISM Code, SOLAS, MARPOL, and MLC 2006.
- Excellent command of the English language (operational level).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and shipboard navigational software.
- Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Valid Medical Fitness Certificate (ENG1 or equivalent national standard).
