Join SingHealth Group, one of Singapore's leading healthcare and medical research institutions, as our Senior Assistant Director in the Office of Research. We are seeking a dynamic and driven individual to oversee the operations of the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) and foster collaborative research initiatives across our network of healthcare institutions.
In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the highest standards of animal welfare and ethical research practices while facilitating groundbreaking scientific discoveries. You will work closely with researchers, clinicians, and administrative staff to create a supportive environment for innovative research projects.

Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee all operations of the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC), ensuring compliance with ethical standards and regulatory requirements
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for research governance and ethical review
- Facilitate collaboration between research departments, clinical units, and external partners
- Manage research administration processes, including protocol review, approval, and monitoring
- Provide guidance and training to researchers on ethical research practices and compliance requirements
- Represent the office in institutional committees and external organizations
- Monitor emerging trends in research ethics and governance, updating policies as needed
Kualifikasi
- Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in life sciences, biomedical research, or related field
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in research administration, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Expertise in regulatory compliance, particularly in animal research ethics and institutional review processes
- Strong understanding of Singapore's healthcare and research landscape
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and foster cross-functional collaboration
- Experience in developing and implementing research governance policies
- Knowledge of international best practices in research ethics and animal welfare
