We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Chemist to join our dynamic team in the West Region. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for conducting complex chemical analyses, ensuring the highest standards of quality control, and maintaining a safe, efficient laboratory environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated professional to work a stable 5-day work week from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, with transport provided to the site.
As a Senior Chemist, you will lead testing initiatives, mentor junior staff, and utilize your expertise to troubleshoot technical challenges. We offer a competitive salary package of $4,500 – $5,000 SGD per month and a collaborative workplace culture focused on innovation and safety. Tanggung Jawab
- Conduct comprehensive chemical analysis and testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
- Develop, validate, and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment, including HPLC, GC, and titration apparatus, to ensure accurate results.
- Analyze experimental data and prepare detailed technical reports for management and stakeholders.
- Enforce strict laboratory safety protocols and ensure a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot product issues and improve formulation processes.
- Supervise and train junior laboratory technicians and interns on proper analytical techniques.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific field.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven experience in a senior chemist or analytical chemistry role.
- Strong proficiency in operating analytical instrumentation such as HPLC, GC-MS, UV-Vis, and titration.
- In-depth knowledge of quality control (QC) and quality assurance (QA) principles, including ISO standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to interpret complex chemical data.
- Valid relevant certifications or licenses in chemical safety (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA).
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
