- Lead and manage high-impact research projects focused on chip-scale laser development for quantum sensing applications.
- Design, simulate, and optimize integrated photonic devices, with a particular emphasis on advanced laser architectures.
- Oversee and actively participate in the nanofabrication processes within cleanroom environments.
- Conduct comprehensive optical and quantum characterization of developed devices and systems.
- Mentor and supervise junior researchers, postgraduate students, and project staff.
- Prepare and submit competitive research grant proposals to secure external funding.
- Publish research findings in top-tier peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences.
- Foster collaborations with internal and external partners in academia and industry.
Kualifikasi
- Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Applied Physics, Materials Science, or a closely related discipline.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of post-doctoral research experience with a strong focus on photonic integration or semiconductor laser development.
- Demonstrated expertise in quantum optics, quantum sensing, or quantum information science.
- Proficiency in optical design and simulation software (e.g., Lumerical, COMSOL, FDTD solutions).
- Hands-on experience with micro- and nanofabrication techniques (e.g., lithography, etching, deposition) in a cleanroom setting.
- Proven ability to independently set up and operate advanced optical characterization setups.
- Exceptional track record of high-quality publications in leading scientific journals.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
