- Lead and manage multiple research projects in synthetic biology, focusing on metabolic engineering and pathway optimization.
- Design and conduct experiments using advanced molecular biology techniques (e.g., CRISPR, cloning, protein engineering).
- Analyze and interpret complex data sets from high-throughput screening and -omics technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate synthetic biology approaches with nutrition and digestive health research.
- Mentor and train junior researchers, interns, and students in laboratory techniques and best practices.
- Contribute to the preparation of research proposals, reports, and scientific publications.
- Present research findings at internal meetings, conferences, and to external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain accurate laboratory records.
Kualifikasi
- PhD in Synthetic Biology, Molecular Biology, Bioengineering, or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of postdoctoral research experience, preferably in an academic or industrial R&D setting.
- Strong expertise in genetic circuit design, protein engineering, and microbial fermentation.
- Proven track record of peer-reviewed publications in high-impact journals.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Experience in bioinformatics and computational modeling is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects and mentor junior staff.
