Are you a visionary researcher looking to push the boundaries of AI and industrial optimization? The Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR) is seeking a Senior Scientist to join the Advanced Remanufacturing and Technology Centre (ARTC). In this role, you will lead high-impact R&D initiatives focused on developing AI-powered optimization solutions for complex enterprise multi-resource planning.
You will work at the intersection of Data Science and Operations Research, collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve real-world industrial challenges. Your work will directly contribute to Singapore’s vision of a smarter, more efficient manufacturing ecosystem by bridging the gap between cutting-edge academic research and scalable enterprise applications.
Tanggung Jawab
- Lead end-to-end R&D projects in AI-driven multi-resource optimization for enterprise-scale planning.
- Design and develop advanced algorithms and machine learning models to solve complex combinatorial optimization problems.
- Collaborate with industry partners to translate research prototypes into robust, production-ready solutions.
- Mentor junior researchers and engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
- Analyze large-scale datasets to derive actionable insights that drive efficiency in manufacturing and supply chain processes.
- Publish technical papers and present research findings at top-tier international conferences and industrial forums.
- Stay at the forefront of emerging technologies in Generative AI, Reinforcement Learning, and Operations Research.
Kualifikasi
- PhD in Computer Science, Operations Research, Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven track record in applying AI, Machine Learning, or Optimization algorithms to industrial problems.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java.
- Experience with optimization solvers (e.g., Gurobi, CPLEX, OR-Tools) and deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow).
- Demonstrated ability to lead research projects and manage stakeholder relationships.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Prior experience in supply chain analytics or manufacturing automation is highly advantageous.
